Gaylord George Moeckly Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaylord George Moeckly of Medford, Minnesota, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Moeckly and Isabella L. Moeckly (Musegades); his wife Joan Schmoll; and his sons, Brian and Rick Moeckly.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Michelle Moeckly (Wayne Hall) of Williamsburg, KS; his great grandchildren, Jayden Heinicke, Xander Hall, Mykah Hall and Izabella Hall; and his siblings-in-law, Don Schmoll (Sharon), Connie Blinsky (Marvin Madsen) and Sandee Buckingham. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery (1435 Willow St, Faribault, MN 55021). A reception was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2500 7th Ave NE, Owatonna, MN 55060).
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be expressed to the American Cancer Society or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Owatonna in Gaylord's memory.
