He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Toenies (Budde); his sons, Gary Toenies and Dave Toenies; his son-in-law Jim Rausch; his parents, Henry Toenies and Anna Toenies; his siblings, Marie Rau, Cel Toenies, Ed Toenies, Harry Toenies and Lou Ann Kemper; and his sister-in-law Louie Rau.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Rausch of Grey Eagle, LeRoy Toenies (Judy) of Akeley and Bryan Toenies; his brothers, Al Toenies (Marty) of Royalton and Rich Toenies; and his sisters-in-law, Jen Toenies of Melrose and Rita Toenies of St. Cloud. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
