She was predeceased by : her parents, Evert Maaninga and Saima Maaninga (Kangas); and her sisters, Luella Gustafson, Mavis Kussatz and Arlene Seikkula.
She is survived by : her husband Floyd Melvin Ruona; her children, Pamela, Duane Ruona (Karen) of Brainerd and Pam Johnson (Gary) of Menahga; her grandchildren, Jason Ruona (Coreen) of West Fargo, ND, Sarah Rehnstrand (Jason) of Superior, WI, Carrie Robbins (Bruce) of Menahga and Joe Johnson (Cheryl) of Menahga; her great grandchildren, Reed, Riley, Kaitlyn Rehnstrand, Jacob, Sam Ruona, Elizabeth, Kali, Amanda Robbins, Leah and Everett Johnson; her siblings, Harlan Maaninga (Judy) of Menahga, Carolyn Condon (Robert) of Wickenburg, AZ, Alice Kako of Menahga, Jean Tomperi of Menahga and Verdie Maaninga of Park Rapids; and her brother-in-law Gordy Kussatz of Menahga. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
