Elaine Ardys Degelau Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Ardys Degelau of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Degelau and Ida Degelau; her sister-in-law Marion Degelau; her great-nephew Samuel Degelau; and her great-niece Courtney Lakoduk.
She is survived by: her brother Rev. John Degelau (Jane Solberg); her sibling's children, John Degelau (Rhonda), Eric Degelau (Renee), Stephen Degelau (Joleen) and Jan Chase (Glenn); her great-nieces and great-nephews, John, Jessica Dobson (Dan), Heather (Sean Yunk), Brooke Peterson (Zachary), Stephanie Kalliman (David), Zachary Degelau, Alec Degelau, Grace Degelau, Ashley Lakoduk (Stephanie Rangel), Lauren Lakoduk, Joseph Cantwell, Felicia Loney and Fallon Ratzlow; Nova, Bodhi, Ashton, Brynlee and Kinsley. She is also survived by her family, her hundreds of friends.
She continued volunteering in the church office each week until the pandemic sent her home at the age of 94.
