Fred Pritzker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Pritzker (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Beloy Pritzker; his children, Jacob Pritzker and Sarah Pritzker; his brothers, Marc Pritzker (Sandra Stowell) and Tom Pritzker (Joanne Sunquist); and his stepsisters, Connie Lundeen (Bob), Sandra Rubenstein and Nancy Madson (John). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
To keep Fred's friends and family safe in the times of COVID, the in-person memorial service will be for immediate family only.
He helped break barriers for people with disabilities, served as the president of the national Angelman Foundation, and continued to serve on the scientific committee, often reaching out to researchers to follow needed areas of study.
