She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Cordell and Howard Cordell; and her siblings, Jimmy, John Cordell and Margaret Spencer.

She is survived by: her husband David Swatosch; her grandchildren, Jim, Debbie and Julie Swatosch (Riley Jennings); and her sister Patty Jorgensen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter Alzheimer's Association.
