Though Vivian may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Murphy Wong; her children, Anita Wong and Leon Wong; and her pet Obito. She is also survived by her mother, two older sisters, two older brothers, one younger sister, many nieces and nephews, and one grand-niece.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Washburn-McReavy Hillside Chapel (2610 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hillside Chapel (2610 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at 2739 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408.
In lieu of flowers, Vivian and her family request that monetary donations be made in her honor to Chùa Phật Ân and a scholarship fund.
