He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Nelsestuen and Emma Nelsestuen; his wife Trudy Duellman; his brother LaVern Nelsestuen (Karen); and his brother-in-law Alfred Fenske.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Nelsestuen (Theresa), Jill Buxengard (Travis) and Katie Pettersen (Leif); his grandchildren, Erica (Steven), Nicole (Jon), Nick (Kate), Jon (Tia), Kendra (Brandon), Morgan, Noah (Emmy), Grant and Paige; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Leo, Waylon, Wyatt, Nixon, Noah and Gabe; and his siblings, Arlene Fenske and Rich Nelsestuen (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hoff Funeral Home (3480 Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
