She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Smith and Laura Smith (Krage); her husband David Kleinbach; her siblings, Laura, Elizabeth and Stewart; and her great grandchild Kelden Samb.

She is survived by : her children, Laura Samb (Brent) of Rochester and Michael Kleinbach of La Crescent; her grandsons, David Samb (Eleyna) of Kasson and Steven Samb (Nikki) of Eagan; her great grandchildren, Mariella, Kaycen and Lily; and her siblings, Janet Scharmer (Danny) of Winona and Pete Smith (Lois) of California. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
