He was predeceased by: his parents, Saul and Rose; and his siblings-in-law, Harriet Kaplan (Allan), Bud Bolter and Alan Trangle.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughters, Julie (Julia), Heidi Zipkin (Lee) and Wendy (Mike); his siblings, Sally Trangle and Frank (Toodie); his grandchildren, Lexi, Zack and Ellie Zipkin; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Bolter and Faye Krupp (Steve). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
