In the sacred silence of farewell, Ilona is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gyorgy Szarvas and Ilona Szarvas (Kolev); and her sister Apollonia Szarves (Elbert Fillyaw). She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Jill Fillyaw; her daughter Lisa Sims; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Carter Fillyaw, Sam and Jackson Sims.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peterson Chapel (119 Central Ave, Buffalo, MN 55313).
