With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janice Corkey of Minnetonka, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janice left this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Donahue and Edith Donahue; her siblings, Keith Donahue and Barb Donahue; her siblings-in-law, Robert Norlander (Clarice), Steve Swenson (Pat), Kenneth "Kenny" Perbix (Mary), Melvin McCrea, Betty Donahue (Keith) and Bernice McCrea; and her nephew Brian Donahue.
She is survived by: her husband Philip Corkery; her sons, Steve Corkery (Karmin) of Chanhassen and Michael Corkery of Florida; her siblings, Thomas Donahue, Clarice "Dottie" Norlander, Mary Perbix and Patricie Swenson; and her grandchildren, Caitlin, Megan and Peyton Corkery. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (13505 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55345). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) in support of Type 1 Diabetes research, Lukemia and Lymphoma Society, or IHM Parish—all are causes close to Jan's heart.
