He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Stark and LaVerna Stark (Graue); his sisters, Marilyn, Rose and Patricia; his half-siblings, James and Charlotte; his parents-in-law, E. Ellmore and Audrey Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Avis Freeman, Albert, Alvin and Arnold Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Smith; his sons, Charles (Kathy) of Montevideo, Darren (Sheila) of Montevideo and Ryan of Fargo; his grandchildren, Ashley Henderson (Josh), Grant Stark, Tara Bachmeier (JR) and Cory Wangberg (Elizabeth); his sister Carol Berends; his brother-in-law John Docken; and also Albert Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
