He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold D. Mitlyng and Agnes T. Mitlyng (Belsaas); his son Lance D. Mitlyng; and his sister Judy Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Marion D. Mitlyng of Clara City, MN; his sons, Matthew Mitlyng (Anita) of Anoka, MN and David Mitlyng (Tristie) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Alicia, Demie, Andrew, James and Gregory; and his sister Elizabeth A. Gustafson (Paul) of Ely, MN. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
