He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Nelson; his brother Al Gremmels; his aunt Judy Wachter; his uncle Ken Wachter; and his father-in-law Clifford Wick.
He is survived by: his mother Delores Nelson (Wachter); his wife Brenda Wick; his children, Andy Gremmels (Kaitlyn) of Rogers, MN, Alex Gremmels (Maria), Tony Gremmels and Abby Gremmels; his grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah, Charlotte and Oliver; his siblings, Rick Gremmels, Sid Nelson (Kandace), Jay Nelson, Bonnie Nelson, Kris Gremmels, Kim (Mark Gustafson), Rob Nelson (Michelle) and Darren Nelson (Julia Billington); his mother-in-law Barbara Wick; and also, Karen Johnson, Nancy Wick and Ken Wick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
