He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Hoaas and Clara Hoaas (Struxness); his wife Betty Allen; his grandchild Jery Natzel; and his siblings, John Hoaas, Alice Molden, Lillian Gjerset, Florence Barnes, Clarice Harlow, Helen Rear and Olga Torgerson.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Natzel (Greg) of Duluth, MN and Mark Hoaas (Deb) of Montevideo, MN; his grandchildren, Jamie Hudacek (Rob Siegle) of Superior, WI, Jennifer VanOverbeke (Todd) of Ivanhoe, MN, Jarvis Hoaas (Heather Hanson) of Montevideo, MN, Jasmin Brace (Stephen) of Montevideo, MN and Jordie Hoaas of Montevideo, MN; his great grandchildren, Javine, Mathius, Jariel, Luke Urbanik, Cooper, Carson, Alyssa, Brennon, Jaxson and Destiny; and his sisters, Della Schneider of Montevideo, MN and Glayds Wagner of Superior, WI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
