James Matthew Skluzacek Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Matthew Skluzacek of Montgomery, Minnesota, born in New Prague, Minnesota, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Skluzacek and Anna Skluzacek (Smisek); his siblings, Ann Simon (Ray), George Skluzacek (Lillian), Stella Jirik (Frank) and Mike Skluzacek; and his brothers-in-law, Ernest David, Bernard David and Mike Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Skluzacek of Montgomery; his children, Shelly Nieman (Tom) of New Prague, Jeff Skluzacek (Lisa) of Mankato, Lori Henze (Brian) of Webster and Chris Skluzacek (Tonya) of New Prague; his grandchildren, Matthew Nieman (Chelsea), Scott Nieman, Danielle Skluzacek, Cassidy Knutson (Halsted), Morgan McMahon (Han), Tyler Henze (Robin) and Adam Henze; his stepgrandchildren, Nicole, Alexander, Chandra (Will), Indya and London; his great grandchildren, Brekkyn, Brogan, Sophie, Scarlett, Saylor and Briggs; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dominic, Ryder and Aspen; his sister Elsie Tupy (George); and his sisters-in-law, Marion Skluzacek, Dorothy Anderson, Deanna David and Doris David. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
