He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Lucille; his wife Ernestine "Tina"; his son Duane Jr.; and his sisters, Jeanette Sorbel and Linda Groven.

He is survived by : his daughters, Diane Robar (Chuck), Denise Bosak (Brian) and Doreen Ogard; and his siblings, William, Carole Wyman and John (Marilyn). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren.
