He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaius Ausland and Sheila Ausland (Olson); and his brother Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Karen Zacher; his children, Tyler Ausland (Kayla), Ashley Hanson and Kay Ausland; his grandchildren, Vincent and Madison Hanson; and his siblings, Mark Ausland (Jan), Lyn Heidenson (Ray), Kent Ausland (Laurie), Susan Olson (Dave), Scott Ausland (Angie), Jule Taylor (Bruce) and Nancy Ausland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
