She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Struckman and Mamie Struckman; her son Alan; her husbands, Alton Peterson and Robert "Jim" McTaggart; her brothers, George, Howard and Gerald; her siblings-in-law, Marjorie, Ellen, Della and Ronald Ackman; and her son Rory Peterson.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Ackman; her grandchildren, Troy Peterson (Jan), Tonya Benzie (Jason) and Tiffany McIntyre (Mark); her great grandchildren, Josie and Jamie Benzie; her daughter-in-law Roxe Peterson; and her close friend Rory Peterson.
