He was predeceased by : his siblings, Wayne Lobdell, Milo Lobdell and Marjorie Lobdell Peterson. He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Lorraine Nelson (Evie); and his sons, Douglas (Julie Hoff) of Eden Prairie, MN, Gregory (Joey) of Brooklyn Park, MN and Scott (Kathy) of Hudson, WI. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran Church.
