He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Dahl and Sophie Dahl; his sister Angeline "Pansy"; his brother-in-law Elmer Ferg; his granddaughter Traci Pavez; and his close friend Mary Dahl.
He is survived by: his spouse Mary Ruth Calkins; and his children, Jerome "Jerry" Dahl of New Auburn, Jo Scheurer of Rice Lake, Jacki Patz (Jeff) of New Auburn, Karen Court of Rochelle and Betsy Damico of Freeport. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
