He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tomalla and Maybelle Tomalla (Peterson); his aunt Ellen; his brother Gordon; his aunt Kurud; and his brother-in-law Billy Joe Duwenhoegger.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Tomalla of Morris; his children, Barb Gilsrud of Ramsey, Tammie Grossman (Tim) of Alexandria and Tim Tomalla (Joan) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Shanna Gilsrud, Christa Cich (Jeff), Dustin Gilsrud, Trent Grossman (Robyn), Tylise Graff (Brock), Derek Tomalla and Emily Tomalla (Randy Schmitz); his great grandchildren, Torie, Riley, Brayden, Matthew, Aubrie, Ryker, Morgan, Caden, Layla and Ridley; his sister-in-law Diane Thompson (Howard) of New River, AZ.; and also Albert.
