He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kriesel and Irene Kriesel (Griep); his wife Maria Kriesel (Martens); his son Gary Kriesel; his stepdaughter Paula Ferguson; and his siblings, Emmet, Steve, John Kriesel, Kathleen Kriesel and Rosemary Schuette.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Kriesel of Big Lake, MN, Dennis Kriesel (Terri) of Lake Shore, MN, Kimberly Mainerich (Walter) of Taconite, MN and Rick Kriesel of Maple Grove, MN; his stepchildren, Tina Kahlhamer (Mike) of Little Falls, MN and Neil Fischer of North Port, FL; and his siblings, Richard Kriesel (Sharon) of Cushing, MN, Harold Kriesel (Deb) of Mankato, MN, Leroy Kriesel (Aimie) of Mounds View, MN, Nancy Tegola (Mario) of Thunder Bay, ON, Vivian Steglich (Douglas) of Las Vegas, NV and Blaine Kriesel (Carol) of Coon Rapids, MN. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peterson - Grimsmo Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peterson Grimsmo Funeral Chapel (250 W Broadway St, Monticello, MN 55362).
