He was loved and cherished by many people including: his uncle Co-Worker; his father Hugh Eldon Armstrong; his children, Deanna Rose Armstrong and Ryan Thomas Armstrong; and his siblings, Stephen, Paul, Karen Armstrong and Amy Roelofs (David). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
