Roy LaVoy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy LaVoy of Naytahwaush, Minnesota, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney LaVoy and Gerda LaVoy (Nordberg); his sons, Lawrence and Joseph; his sisters, Jeanette LaGue (Ted) and Rita Bjorge (Byron); and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Foss Sr., Ida Shield, Alvina Firstrider and Alvin Leslie Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Lizabeth "Betsy" LaVoy; his siblings, John LaVoy (Ann), Sid LaVoy and Ruth Foss; his cousin MaryAnn Snobl; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen McDougall (Earl), Helen Stiner, Ed Kennedy, Jim Kennedy, Mary Kennedy and Nora Kennedy (Clinton). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (204 Co Rd 4, Naytahwaush, MN 56566). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
