He is survived by : his grandchild Christie; his children, Shannon Burnette Jr., Donovan Burnette, Chad Messer, Blake Thurstin, Christie Jackson, Karl Burnette and Aidan Burnette; his siblings, Shane, Terry and Gina; his sister-in-law Mary; and his close friend Chris Connor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
