As we bid Ross farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ross is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Metzger and Daisy Metzger; and his wife Leta. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph (Kathryn) and Robert (Laura); his granddaughters, Anna (Anthony Obinger) and Emily Valstad (Zach); and his brothers, Jack and Joe. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint John the Baptist at the above address.
