It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Griffin (New Hope, Minnesota), born in Larimore, North Dakota, who passed away on July 13, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Griffin; her parents, Albert Lilja and Hannah Lilja; and her sister Marion Hofer. She is survived by: her children, Patty Gavin (Larry) of Faribault, MN, Doug Griffin (Mari) of Minneapolis, MN, David Griffin of Minneapolis, MN, Mary Hawkinson (Joe) of Amery, WI and Beth Andersen (Jon) of Walker, MN; and her grandchildren, Fergus (Karla Jager), Zac Cracknell, Jennifer Regier (Adam), Abigail Czyscon (Drew) and Jared Andersen. She is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
