He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his children, Andrew and Anne Carlson; and his grandson Derek Martin. He is survived by: his children, John (Maureen), Richard (Judy), Paul (Vicki), Jim (Jackie), Tom (Sara), Mary Reining (Bob), Ruth Hunt (Lee) and Jane Olson (Pete); and his son-in-law Greg Carlson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
