He was predeceased by : his wife Sharon; his brother Lyle; and his parents, Anne and Floyd. He is survived by : his children, Karen and Keith (Chris); his granddaughters, Audrey (Jake), Becca (Kyle) and Sarah; his sister-in-law Nancy (Lyle); his niece Kristi (Chris); his great-nieces, Adrienne (Seth) and Isabel; his niece Miranda (Eddie); his great-nephews, Peter, Samuel and Theodore; his great-niece Mila; his niece Lori (Shea); and also Madison.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
