He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughter Lisa Berns (Joe); his grandchildren, Jessica, Alexandra, Michael and Gabriella; and his siblings, Judy Miller (Craig), Jim Spiekermeier (Rita), Diane Voyles (Kevin) and Kevin Spiekermeier (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
