She is survived by: her aunt Murel; her husband Ralph Scheffler; her children, Kenneth (Diane Walton), Linda Bartling (Peter) and Jay; her grandchildren, Troy Scheffler, Jonathan Bartling (Rachel) and Andrea Wilkes; her great grandchildren, Jack, Presley Bartling, Haynes, Brecken and Badgley Wilkes; and her sisters, Shirley, Mary and Emma Rose.

Due to Covid-19, a celebration of Irene's life will be held at a later date.
