James Lovsted Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lovsted (New Hope, Minnesota), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his brother John; and his grandson Kevin Messer. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimmarie Messer (John), Lori Peeples (Andrew), Michele Wolsmann and Nancy Lyons (Steve); his grandchildren, AJ (Emily), Eric (Joelle Lyons), Alex Messer, Nate (Matthew Weaver) and Maddie (Max Wolsmann); his stepgrandchildren, Susie, Andy and Catherine Peeples; his great grandchild Aaliyah Peeples; his sisters, Laura Olson (Gary), Mary Mick (Terry) and Linda Cooper (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Tracy Karlson (Sharon), Alice Kashmarek and Robert Wedekind (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to health and safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mass of Christian Burial for Jim is being postponed.
He didn't let his Parkinson's disease and mobility challenges stop him from attending sporting events for his grandchildren, and he treasured spending time with them.
