He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Floyd "Cal" Monroe; his sisters, Terri and Nicole Monroe; his son Joel Monroe (Emily); his granddaughters, Elle and Rose Monroe; his mother Janice Monroe; his sister Pam Berg (Kevin); his nephew Justin Davis; and his brother-in-law John Luce.
