The passing of Janice Hazen (New London, Minnesota) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rettmann and Helen Rettmann (Stark); her husband Richard Hazen; her grandsons, Joshua Schmit and Daniel Wicklund; her son-in-law Gregory Schmit; her nephew Jeff Bastian; and her sisters, Muriel Barfknecht, Carol Kempfert, Eldonna Bastian and Shirley Stiller.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Dolce, Steve Dolce (Lori), Kimberly Schmit, Denise Hoffbeck (CJ), Megan Hazen (Steve Carpenter), Marget Sanchez (Ed), Andrew Hazen and Elizabeth Hazen (Whiz); and her close friend Bob Knutson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home (1000 19th Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Little Crow Golf Resort (15980 MN-23, Spicer, MN 56288).
