Kay Strand Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2020, at the age of 84, Kay Strand of New London, Minnesota, born in Buffalo, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Malcolm Lundsten and Ruth Lundsten (Kilstofte); her siblings-in-law, Richard Strand, Peter Davies, Georgie Strand and Karen Westby; her son-in-law Patrick Boros; and also, Orrin and Eleanor Strand.
She is survived by : her husband Roger Strand; her brother Roger; her children, Mary of Willmar, Mac (Jamie) of Marquette, MI, Katherine Broze (David) of Phoenix, AZ and Bob of Minneapolis; her grandchildren, Jayne, Kayte and Christopher; her brother John Lundsten (Mary Ellen) of Buffalo; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Davies of Minneapolis and Loren Westby of Mountain Home, AR.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date when all are safe from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Memorials may be sent to the United Methodist Church of Willmar, the Rice Health Foundation, the New London-Spicer Community Fund, Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center, or a charity of your choice.
