With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurie Beek-Korbel of New Prague, Minnesota, born in Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Korbel and Evelyn Korbel (Timmers); her brother David; and her grandparents, George, Emily Korbel (Honza), John and Petronella Timmers (Penterman).

She is survived by : her husband Craig of New Prague; her stepchildren, Brandon Beek of Sartel and Ashley Beek of Sartel; her brothers, Ronald Korbel of Montgomery and Randy Korbel (Dawn) of Lonsdale; her children, Nathan, Jenny Korbel, Jackson, Garrett, Theodore, Remington, Diann (Ben Vosejpka), Josie, Cindy (Brad Walecha) and Jacob (Samuel); her aunt Janet Korbel; and her uncle Matt O'Connell.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Bruzek Funeral Home (610 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Church (215 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071).
