It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delila Maidl of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Maidl; her parents, Theodore Asmus and Angeline Asmus (Sporer); her daughter Connie Bushard (Gordy); and her brother Ted Asmus.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Oropeza and Gary Maidl; her grandchildren, Beau Bushard (Catie) and Andrea Hauge (Matt); her great grandchildren, Noah, Noelle and Nixon Hauge; and her sisters-in-law, Barb Asmus and Betty Maidl.
Social distancing guidelines must be practiced, and all guests in attendance at the funeral will be required to wear a mask.
