She is survived by: her husband Douglas Giefer of New Ulm; her children, Robert Giefer II (Kristine) of Alexandria, Maria Giefer-Olsen (Todd) of Albuquerque, NM, Jerry Giefer (Renee) of Windom, Michael Giefer of Roseville, Pamela Giefer of Vadnais Heights and Mark Giefer of New Ulm; and her grandchildren, Kyle Olsen, Derek Olsen and Brady Ysker-Giefer.
