It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roger Hoelz of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Glencoe, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 80, on January 11, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hoelz and Irene Hoelz (Gehlen); and his granddaughter Hannah Hoelz. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Helen McCourtney; his wife Helen Hoelz of New Ulm; his children, Jill Loftus (Bill) of Hemlock, NY, Courtney Schmidt (Larry) of Belle Plaine, MN, Nick Hoelz (Rachel) of Baxter, MN and Joe Hoelz (Nicky) of St. Johns, FL; and his sisters, Joanne Schmit (Dick) of Shakopee, Judie Walerius (Bob) of Owatonna, Kay Schmidt (Paul) of Rosemount and Jackie Barbes (Gust) of Rochester. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren.

Social distancing guidelines must be practices and all guests in attendance at the visitation and funeral will be required to wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the New Ulm Allina Oncology Department and New Ulm Allina Home Care and Hospice.
