We bid farewell to Rodney Errol Wendt of New York Mills, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 1, 2026 at the age of 65. Rodney touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Wendt and Loretta Wendt (Jorgenson); and his brother Rollin Wendt. He is survived by: his children, Misse Paskey (Chris) of Audubon, MN and Jared Knutson of Osage, MN.; his siblings, Vicki Uselman (Mike) of Austin, TX, LaRae Witsaman (Paul) of Fort Worth, TX and Ronald Wendt (Patricia) of Shoreview, MN; his grandchildren, Kianne, Matthew, Lee, Hallie, Brody, Gianna and Brityn; and his great grandchildren, Raelyn, Amara and Issabella. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Itow Veterans Museum (805 W Main St, Perham, MN 56573). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery (500 6th Ave SW, Perham, MN 56573).
