He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Olson and Lucille Olson (Walker); his brothers, Dale Olson and Donny Olson; and his great-nephew Tyler Schmidt.
He is survived by: his sister Donna Nelson; his friend Emily Keacher; and his sibling's children, Christine Gossen, Claudine Vogel, Char Obrecht and Marshal Nelson. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
