It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loren John Diekmann of North Mankato, Minnesota, born in Adrian, Minnesota, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Diekmann and Margaret Balluff Diekmann; his wife Mary; his daughter Jonna; his siblings, Joan (Bill Sauer) and Myron Diekmann; and his sister-in-law Marianne Diekmann.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa (Jock Wenzel), Larry (Gina Diekmann), Lance Diekmann of Wells, MN, Lori (Brian Denton), Lynette (Michael Perry), Lyle (Anne Diekmann) and Lenny (Julie Diekmann); his siblings, Carolyn Diekmann-Halbreder (John Halbreder) and Vernon Diekmann of Harvest, AL; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Anderson of Fulda, MN.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
