She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodor S. Slen and Lyla L. Slen (Isaacson); her spouse Rev. Albin G. Sherve; and her brother Mark Slen. She is survived by : her children, Margaret Sherve of Ames, Iowa, Anne Sherve-Ose (Alan) of Williams, Iowa, Mark Sherve of Rush City, Minnesota and John Sherve (Laurie) of Stevensville, Montana; her grandchildren, Samuel Ose (Nichole), Rachel Ngendakuriyo (Samuel), Rebecca Gottman (Kalen) and Theodor Maghrak; and her siblings, Solveig Arnold of Seattle, Washington, Elisabeth Hammill of Renton, Washington and Rolf Slen (Liz) of Fargo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
