He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Quaas and Lila Quaas (Barlau); his niece Jessica Quaas; and his parents-in-law, Lamont and Viola Weiland.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Weiland; his son Don Quaas; his brothers, Darrell Quaas of Dassel, Keith Quaas of Mayer and Kevin Quaas of Waconia; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Heitz (Tom) of St. Bonifacius, Monty Weiland (Shirley) of Delano and Susan Meyer (Delbert) of Minnetrista. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
