He is survived by : his wife Karen Grund; his children, Kim Welter (Roger) of Kingman, Arizona, Becky Hammers (Dave Klughbertz) of Hamburg, Teresa Monroe of White Earth, Tom Monroe of White Earth and Chuck Monroe (Heidi) of Young America; his grandchildren, Michael Giesen, Wendy Rusinyak, Chris Welter, Antone Hammers, Jesse Monroe, Brevin Monroe, Zander Monroe, Teague Monroe, Geoffrey Reed, Brittney Monroe and Dalton Monroe; his former life partner Karen Monroe of Glencoe; and his siblings, Ditty Perrelet (Ross), Chig Monroe Cammisuli, Mitty Jackson, Larry Monroe, Jackie Monroe and Elizabeth "Betty" Guevara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
