She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Ness and Olga Ness (Carlson); her husband Bill; her sister Carol Selfors; her parents-in-law, Sylvia, Alan Schultz, Richard and Marcia Hoel; and her nieces, Susan and Kathy.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Hoel (Ruth) of Rochester, MN, Nancy Hilleren (Anthony) of Benson, MN and Kristen Nornes (Jeffery) of Erskine, MN; her grandchildren, Becca Sedlack (Stuart), Elizabeth Kan (Will), Marah Runtsch (Nick), Noah Zehringer (Joy), Hannah Zehringer, Aaron Zehringer, Jordan Zehringer (Jessica), Norah Hilleren, Sophie Hilleren, Casey Nornes (Alyssa) and Riley Nornes; her daughter Donna; her great grandchildren, Carson, Oscar, Milo, Shelby, Calvin, Jacob, Christian, Luis, Isaiah, Cruz, Henry, Emmett, Thatcher, Lilah and Baby Nornes; and her brother-in-law Wayne Selfors of Colorado. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Big Stone Healthcare Foundation, First English Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice in Donna's name are preferred.
