She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Nelson and Florence Nelson (Watlov). She is survived by : her daughters, Deborah Haugdahl, Nicole Hensley (Russell) and Beth Chesney (Kim Whiting); her grandchildren, Ashley Finney (Ryan), Casey Kapsner (Ben), Sydney Haugdahl (D'Andre Premphe), Madison Hensley, Jack Hensley, Jacob Chesney and Kerrigan Chesney; and her husband Nick. She is also survived by husband and wife, best friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home (34 2nd St NE, Osseo, MN 55369). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Word of Peace Lutheran Church (21705 129th Ave N, Rogers, MN 55374). A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
