She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kalpin and Lorna Kalpin (Brockopp); and her siblings, Bonita Swanson and Dale Kalpin. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Dick" Sjobeck; her children, Debra Ruberg (Kevin) of Two Harbors and Bruce Sjobeck (Brenda) of Parkers Prairie; her sister Karen Meidl of Savage; her grandchildren, Hope Green (Patrick), Benjamin Ruberg (Victoria), Kayla Fiedler (Jake), Jakki Elfering (Ryan) and Janessa Samuelson (Wyatt); and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Tenley Green, Callan, Harper, Hudson Fiedler, Sadie, Walter Samuelson, Oliver Ruberg and Haiden Mulhollam. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (709 S Douglas Ave, Parkers Prairie, MN 56361). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
